Albert Einstein once said, "The definition of insanity is doing the same things over and over again and expecting a different result."
We all have things in our lives we would like to be different or make better results in.
The questions are, "Do I really want something better?” AND... “How do I get it?"
Every day we wish that we can discipline ourselves to make change; we can open a book to get new knowledge and we can start a new hobby or productive activity in our business. We can do this right away, next week, next month, or next year.
We can also do nothing and pretend rather than take action.
If the idea of change makes us uncomfortable, we can just remain the same. We can choose rest over labor, entertainment over education, delusion over truth, and doubt over confidence. The choices are ours to make.
Start today by getting out of your comfort zone.
Change for improvement is awesome and gives you great sense of accomplishment. You already know this, because we have all done this.
For example, the last time you cleaned out a closet, desk, or a garage did it not give you a rush and like a bag full of bricks were removed from your back. Of course it did.
You do not have to change everything all at once, although you could if your life or a loved one's life depended on it. Start today by having small victories in both your business and personal lives. Then move onward to bigger accomplishments. You can do this, the choice is yours.
The great business philosopher Jim Rohn once said, "You cannot change your destination overnight, but you can change your direction overnight."
